Verse 1 John 5:13: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother was welcomed to her heavenly home with Jesus on May 13, 2002, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Her one desire in life was that her family, friends, and community would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. She was a wonderful Bible teacher with much wisdom in God's Word and worked endlessly to bring others to Christ.
Zelma C. (Greenman) Clark was born in Holland, Oct 18, 1915. She moved to Kalkaska as a young girl and lived here until 1952 when she moved to Saginaw. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church while she resided there. She returned to Kalkaska in 1990 to be near her family.
She was a volunteer of the year in 1986 for Practical Application of her Christian faith in service to God from the City Rescue Mission of Saginaw where she spent many hours of faithful volunteer service. Zelma was a charter member of Calvary Baptist and Evergreen Bible Baptist Church in Kalkaska.
She was married to Melvin U Clark Dec 29, 1934. He preceded her in death Apr 13, 1977. Three children survive: Philo L Clark (Joan Nolff), Thomas M Clark (Mary Lou Galehouse), and Nancee M Monsees (Roy), all of Kalkaska. Zelma had 18 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren.
Zelma's brothers Karl (Juanita) Greenman and Glen (Eleanor) Greenman, sisters, Dorothy (Albert) Smith, and Luciene (Thomas) Alzelton and great granddaughter Kaitlin Clark preceded in death.
She will be greatly missed by her family, who loved her very much, also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral service was at Evergreen Bible Baptist Church. Interment was at Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
