Zander L. Lhamon, 19 months, of Buckley, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009. He was born on Feb. 13, 2008 in Traverse City, the son of Timothy L. and Nadea L. (Rodgers) Lhamon.
Zander is survived by his parents, Tim and Nadea; has siblings, Ember Lhamon, Addisin Lhamon, and Espn Lhamon; maternal grandparents, Barb and Darwin Huttenga of McBain, and Charlie and Wendy Rodgers of Sheboygan, Wis; paternal grandparents, Timothy and Rena Lhamon of Buckley, and Mary Jo Lhamon of Kingsley; great-grandparents, Dorothy Rodgers of Cadillac, David and Janice Thorne of Cadillac, Sally and Kerwin Huttenga of Cadillac, Paul and Mary Brazie of Lapeer, and Rich and Edna Nurmi of Buckley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Zander was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Rodgers Sr.; two aunts, Christie Thorne and Louise Rodgers; his great-grandparents, Ernie and Marion Lhamon; and cousin, Brandon Lhamon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m., from the Covell Funeral Home, Kingsley. Funeral services will be held today, Sept. 17, 2009, at 11 a.m., at the Buckly Tabernacle Church. Pastor John Vermila will officiate. Burial will take place in the Cornell Cemetery, Buckley.
