Mrs. Winifred O. Dunlavey, 90, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Dec 7, 1996, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit.
Mrs. Dunlavey came to the United States from British Guiana, and lived in Chicago and Detroit prior to moving to northern Michigan. She moved to Kalkaska from Fife Lake in 1975. She attended Bourda Roman Catholic School, Charlestown Convent of Mercy and Kingston Business Chool in Georgetown Demerara, British Guiana. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Born in Georgetown Demerara, British Guiana on Sep 18, 1906, daughter of Edward and Mary Marques Hyderkhan. She married Walter Dunlavey on Nov 17, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Oct 8, 1958.
She was preceded in death by her sister Sylvia Pelster.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am at Dec 11, 1996 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father James Holtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Arrangements by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
