Funeral services for Winfield P Snyder, 74, who died Wed night at the home of his son. Harry Snyder of 1222 First Ave S, will be held this afternoon at 3:30 at the T.F. O'Connor Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Snyder had been ill with heart trouble for the last year.
He was born in Canton, OH, Nov 23, 1857, and had been a resident of this state for 28 years. For 16 years he had been engaged in farming at Fort Benton and for the last 12 years had made his home here with his son. Surviving him are three other sons, E.A. Snyder of Great Falls, Edward Snyder of Tacoma, WA, and T.P. Snyder of Southern CA.
Three daughters, Mrs. F.C. Andretta of this city, Mrs. William Ellis of Yakima, WA, and Mrs. Walter Morrison of Tacoma, WA, also survive. There are eight grandchildren, Lucille and Frances Snyder and Fred C and Beth Andretta, all of Great Falls; Ruth and Muriel Morrison and Betty and Ed Snyder Jr, of Tacoma.
