Wilton "Tod" Wainman, 86. of Rapid City. passed away on Fri., Nov. 22, 2002, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care. He was born on April 23, 1916, in Herkimer, N.Y., the son of Leroy and Mabel (Bleekman) Wainman.
Tod married Natalie Phillips on Dec. 31, 1941. in Flint. He was a member of the Alumni of Eastern Michigan University and received a degree in forestry from Michigan State University.
Tod retired from Ford Motor Company on Dec. 31. 1974, after 35 years of service. He was a part time resident of Rapid City and Mt. Dora, Fla. He was a very charitable person and a gentlemen, always willing to help those in need and a member of the Elks Clubs for 14 years.
Tod is survived by his children, Thomas E. (Marcie) Wainman of Ashland City, Tenn., Kathleen L Pratt of Lexington, Ky. and Patricia. A. (Mark Lasko) Wainman of Rapid City; grandchildren Christine (Scott) Armes of Nashville, Tenn., Todd (Missy) Wainman of Crowly, Texas and Carrie Pratt of Clearwater, Fla.
Memorials may be given in behalf of Wilton Wainman to the American Diabetes Association.
