Wilma Jean Phelps Crites, age 68, passed away at her home in South Boardman on Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was born on November 18, 1942 to the late Elmer and Florence Phelps.
Wilma married Walter "David" Crites on May 19, 1972 in Clio. They moved to South Boardman from Mt. Morris in 1991. Wilma enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing, gardening and working in the yard. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Wilma is survived by her husband of 39 years, David; her children, Jerry (Amy) Carder of Flint, Amanda (Kiel) White of South Boardman, Crystal Terry of South Boardman, and AJ David Crites of South Boardman; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wilma will be held on Monday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Tanner, Jr. of the Assembly of God Church in Flushing officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Interment at Boardman Township Cemetery.
