Russell Cole, 81, died Wednesday, Oct 14, 1981, in the Hillsdale County Medical Facility after a long illness.
He was born May 28, 1900, in Argyle.
Mr. Cole was an avid horseman and harness racing enthusiast in Michigan.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Marie) Bernier, Allen Park, and Edith Cuzelis, Taylor; three sons, Harvey and James both of California, and William, Hillsdale; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Thornton, Lake Worth, FL, and Mrs. Mary Metzler, Nappanee, IN; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday in the Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. The Rev. Larry VanSlambrook, pastor of the Brown City United Methodist churches, will officiate. Burial will be in Argyle Cemetery.
