William Paul Morrow of Green River, WY, formerly of Gingellville and Kalkaska, died Mon, May 14, 2001, in Wyoming.
He was born in Detroit on Apr 18, 1917, the son of the late Paul and Bessie (Carson) Morrow. He graduated from Birmingham High School in 1936. He married Ruth Smith in 1937 and they celebrated 61 happy years together. He was a veteran of WWII, lived in Lake Orion in the 1940-70s, served as deacon in the Gingellville Baptist Church, retired from General Motors as sergeant in Plant Protection with 34 plus years in 1975. He then moved to Kalkaska where he lived for 20 years, and the past five years he lived in Wyoming part of the time with his daughter.
He will be lovingly missed by daughters Lynne (Robert) Martin of Fenton and Merrie (Ken) Haynes of Green River, WY; granddaughter, Stephanie Nichols; great grandchildren William and Hope; sister, Elizabeth Shoeb of Phoenix, AZ and many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and sister, Ellen Falberg.
Funeral services were May 23 at the Dryer Funeral Home in Holly. Burial was in Lake Cemetery, Holly.
