William Brown of Lapeer, age 67, died Sat, Apr 28, 1990 at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
Mr. Brown was born May 9, 1922 in Flint, MI, the son of Ernest and Dessive Brown. He married Doris Gibbons in Lansing, Apr 11, 1941. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Doris; 7 children, Patricia Archer of Flint, William M and wife Carol Brown Jr of Piersonville, MI, Ronald and wife Frances Brown of Lapeer, David Brown of Lapeer, Theodore and wife Bonny Brown of Lapeer, Ruth Ann Flanagan of Lapeer, and Mary and husband Chris Scramlin of Honoi, MI; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Madeline Couch of Lansing, Geraldine Winans of Davison, Mildred Stoll of Grand Rapids, Gladys Burns of Lansing, Eva Mellinger of CA; brother Fred Brown of Lansing.
Friends may call Sun after 4pm, Monday from 9 to 9. Funeral services will be held Tue, May 1, 1990 at 11 am at the Baird-Newton Funeral Home in Lapeer. Rev Lloyd Lemke officiating. Interment in Mt Loretto Cemetery.
