Billy M. Blatt, age 75, died Thu, Jul 9, 1998 at his home.
He was born Jun 29, 1923 in Flynn Township to Roy and Beatrice Blatt.
He married Phyllis Harnden on Apr 10, 1943 in Brown City at the Methodist Church parsonage.
A dairy farmer, he also worked in Romeo at the Ford Tractor Plant. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brown City.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Blatt of Brown City; 5 children, Dale (Janet) Blatt, of Brown City, Gail (Bruce) Hurley, of Lapeer, Christine (Wayne) Bell of Marlette, Bonnie (Randy) Mitchell, and Kenneth (Patricia) Blatt of Brown City; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Leon (Erdine) Blatt and Keith (Isabelle) Blatt; 1 sister, Jeanette (Robert) Grant.
Services were held at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dallas Berry officiating.
Burial was in the Omard Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.
