William H Ingersoll, 73, of Kalkaska, died Apr 12, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ingersoll was a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County and owned and operated Kalkaska Fence Company. He later worked for Wayne Wire Cloth Products prior to his retirement in 1985. He was a member of Kalkaska Church of Christ and the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Ingersoll was born in Kalkaska County on Oct 31, 1924, to Harry and Zelma Barber Ingersoll. He married Wilma Hollis in South Boardman on Nov 28, 1942.
Surviving are his wife Wilma; sons Richard Ingersoll and Van Ingersoll, both of Kalkaska ; daughter Sandra Mitchell of Kalkaska; brother Wayne Ingersoll of Fife Lake; sister Emma Bridson of Fife Lake; brother in law Bernard James Hollis of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son; brothers Clarence and Elmer; and sisters Freda, Maxine, and Ethel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wed, Apr 15, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
