William G. Koerber, 81, president of the Koerber Brewing Co. of Toledo, died Monday in Cottage Hospital, Grosse Point Farms.
Mr. Koerber of 93 Port Dr, was a member of the Master Brewers Association of America, the Detroit District Brewers Association, the Detroit Yacht Club and the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Eagle and Mrs. Diana Sgrazzutti; eight sons, William Jr, Roger, Richard, Robert, Ross, Raymond, Ralph and Randall; a sister; a brother, 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 am Wednesday in St. Martin Roman Church, Averill and Lenox. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
A Rosary will be said at 7:30 pm Tuesday in the Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack, Grosse Pointe Park.
