William G. "Gerry" Headley, 67, of Kalkaska, died Thu, May 27, 1999, at his home.
Mr. Headley had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 23 years, having moved here from Elk Rapids. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Northwest Concrete Company. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, country music, cards and model airplanes.
Born in Ecorse on Jun 29, 1931, he is the son of Jesse and Eva Blimka Headley. On May 25, 1951, in Oxford, he married Barbara Nelson who survives.
Besides his wife, he survived by brothers Leon (Mary) Headley and Duane (Hazel) Headley, both of St. Helen, Raymond (Helen) of Mancelona, and Michael (Judy) Headley of Burton; sisters Nancy (Bob) Snyder of Dryden and Jessica (Tim) Williams of Caro; and many nieces and nephews.
Brothers Clayton and Frankie and sisters Lola Valentine and Irene Headley preceded him in death.
Funeral services were May 30, 1999, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
