William F. Stinson, 70, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Jun 22, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Stinson moved to Kalkaska in 1980 from Chicago. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW2, and was a member of Land O'Lakes V.F.W. Post 8684. He enjoyed landscaping and black powder guns.
Mr. Stinson was born in Detroit on Nov 25, 1924, to James and Ethel Kile Stinson. He married Bernice (Hinds) Luebbert in Detroit in 1960. She survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by in laws and many friends.
Two brothers preceded hi in death.
Funeral services were held Mon, Jun 26, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson will officiate. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Graveside services were under the auspices of Land O'Lakes V.F.W. Post 8684.
