Wm. E. Baldauf, 50, native of Corsicana, Tex, died at 11:45 pm October 9 at the Veterans Facility, where he was admitted on April 7, 1937. He was a World War veteran, having enlisted July 25, 1917, and was discharged May 12, 1919, as a sergeant Co. C, 46th Infantry. He leaves his wife, Barbara Ella Ferguson Baldauf, New Iberia, and two children, Jane and Wm. Jr. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon with burial at the Veterans Facility.
