William D. Hall, 54, of Traverse City, died Mon, Oct 6, 1997, at his home.
Mr. Hall spent his early years in South Boardman, and then resided in Galien and North Dakota until 20 years ago, when he returned to the Traverse City-Kalkaska area. He enjoyed deer hunting and finishing.
Born in South Boardman on Apr 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Henry Dean and Mary Jane (Barber) Hall.
Surviving are sons Gary Hall of Woodbury, MN and Robert Hall of Minnetonka, MN; daughter Tricia Hall of Fargo, ND; stepson Keith Pelky of Lake Ann; step daughtrs Marci Alpers of Traverse City, Tracy Ransom of Fife Lake, Lanel Woods of Idlewild, and Latonia Brooks of New Orleans; brother Vernon (Pam) Hall of Buchanan; sisters Mary Ann (Don) Root of Kalkaska, Eileen (Sandy) Pressey of Buchanan and Frances Schoenemann of South Boardman; and 12 grandchildren.
A brother Thomas and sister Beatrice Schoenemann preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Oct 9 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
