William A. Zabriskie, aged 91, passed away at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Eden Center on Thu, Jun 10, 2010. William was a WWII Veteran in the US Army, receiving the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was an active member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and a Weather Spotter for the National Weather Service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Katherine; and daughter, Katherine E Zabrinskie. Surviving are his son William (Irene) Zabriskie of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Irene (Jeff) Voss, Dan (Amy) Lynch, Robert Zabriskie, and Nieske Zabriskie; seven great grandchildren; and brother, John C. Zabriskie.
The Funeral was held on Mon, Jun 14 at Stroo Funeral Home. Interment in Dutton Cemetery.
