Wilbur E. Snyder, Jr., 36 of Flint, formerly of Traverse City, died Wed at Hurley Hospital in Flint.
He is survived by two daughters, Glenda and Amy Snyder both of Flint; his parents Dorothy and Wilber E. Snyder Sr. of Traverse City; three brothers, Richard L. of Flint and William D and Michael W. both of Traverse City; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Bonnie) Kinder and Mrs. David (Connie) Kirsch of Traverse City; his maternal grandmother Lula Timmins of Traverse City and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was born May 1, 1941 in Fife Lake and was married in Nov of 1970 to Sue Weiderhold of Flint, who survives.
He lived in Fife Lake as a boy, attended Fife Lake School and Kalkaska High School, graduating in 1959. He worked for Cherry Growers in Traverse City and was employed by the Buick Motor Company of Flint for the last 12 years. He was a resident of Flint since 1968.
A Requiem Funeral Mass will be recited Sat, September 3, at 10 am at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Raymond C. Mulka officiating. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. A rosary will be recited Fri 7:30 pm at the Martinson Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. Mass cards may be obtained at the funeral home.
