Former Springfield Twp. Resident Passes
Wilburt Glen Aldridge, son of the late Luther and Elizabeth Aldridge was born in Springfield Township, December 20, 1894, and passed away May 27, 1958, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Saginaw following a stroke two years ago. He spent his boyhood days in Springfield Township and at the age of twenty joined the army. After the first World War he spend eight months in Archengle, Russia with Company B., 210 Engineers, First Battalion, returning home in July 1918. Later going to Flint where he was employed at the Buick plant thirty years.
In 1921 he was united in marriage to Pansy Beauliau of Flint and to this union five children were born; Mrs. Maxine Anderson, Wilbur, Vera, Forrest, and Mrs. Threasa Court , all living in Flint.
He leaes to mourn his loss, a wife Pansy; three daughters; two sons; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Martha Snyder, Fife Lake; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
