Weldon D. Davis, 65, of South Boardman, died Wed, Nov 3, 1993 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Davis moved to South Boardman from Pontiac six years ago. He was a member of the Northern Michigan Restoration Independent Branch of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, berry picking, the outdoors, and wildlife.
He was born on Sep 29, 1928, in Pontiac, to Harry A. and Julia A. Ellis Davis. On Jan 29, 1949, in Pontiac, he married Roberta Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Stanley (Susan) Davis of Lewiston and Wayne (Devora) Davis of Gaylord; one sister, Verlyn Karpeles of Dearborn; four grandchildren, Holly, Eric, Heather, and Andrea; and three nephews, Carlton Flynn, Dale Flynn, and Arlyn Karpeles.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Flynn.
Funeral services were held Sat, Nov 6, at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Elder Arlyn Mark Karpeles officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Memorial contributions may be given to Ducks Unlimited.
