Welcome son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stuck was born in Lenawee County, December 11, 1886; when he was three years old he moved with his parents to Lyons, OH, where they lived eight years, from there they moved to Gladwin County.
He was taken with a severe cold in his throat which developed into sarcoma or cancer of the larynx. He doctored with two of the best doctors in Gladwin city and finding no relief went to the University Hospital, Ann Arbor, where he died. Deceased was 19 years, 4 months, and 21 days old. Hel eaves father, mother, and sister to mourn his death.

Funeral services were held at the Ridge Church at 12 May 6, conducted by Rev. A.C. Peters. Interment in Gladwin Cemetery.
