Warren J. Ogg, 73, of Kalkaska, died Wednesday morning, Nov 6, 1991 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ogg lived in Alma until 22 years ago when he moved to Kalkaska. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Morrison Orchards. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and the outdoors.
Mr. Ogg was born in Montcalm, MI on May 26, 1918, son of the late Melvin and Esther Field Ogg. He married Violet Arbuckle in Kalkaska on Mar 8, 1969.
Surviving are his wife, Violet; four sons, James Tester and George Tester both of Kalkaska, Chance Arbuckle of Traverse City, and Randy Arbuckle of South boardman; five daughters, Sue Harper of Fife Lake, Bonnie Bowen and Karen Forbush both of Kalkaska, Penny Pahl of Owosso, and Kay Ogg of South Boardmann; two brothers, Merle Og gof Morley and Lincoln Ogg of Magnolia, DE; two sisters, Margaret Hansen of Trufant, and Melva Bloomburg of Howard City; 30 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
One sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Nov 9, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Oliver Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
