Waneta M. Rondeau, 72, of Mancelona and a former Alpena resident died on Thu, Dec 12, 1991 at home, following an extended illness.
She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed sewing, needlework, and bingo.
She was born on Nov 26, 1919 in Clio, to Cleo and Gladys (Shoe) Brand.
On Jul 13, 1939 in Bowling Green, OH she was married to Albert Rondeau, and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons and their wives, Ronald and Joyce Taylor of Atascedero, CA, James and Sue Rondeau of Novi, Donald and Beverly Rondeau, and Douglas and Nancy Rondeau, all of Naples, FL; five daughters, and their husbands, Janice and Gary Hill of Cedar Springs, Sharon and Donald Grocholski of Kawkawlin, Deborah Vidalier of Kalkaksa, Nita and James Jackson and Jacqueline and Richard Riley, all of mancelona; 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; three brothers and their wives, Waldon and Margaret Brand of Mancelona, Charles and Jean Brand of Oxford and Terry and Joan Brand of Alden; and two sisters, Cleona and her husband Theodore Dice of Mancelona and Reta Lester of Ann Arbor.
She was preceded in death by four children, Mary, Dennis, Wayne, and Gerald.
Funeral services were held on Sun, Dec 15, at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona with Pastor Mark McCool officiating.
Graveside services were held on Mon, Dec 16 at Evergreen Cemetery, Alpena.
