Walter Tracey, 47, of Manton died Sat, Sep 4, 1993 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac after suffering a heart attack at home.
Mr. Tracey was born Jul 9, 1946 in Cadillac. He married Jean Johnston Feb 14, 1984 in Manton, who survives. He had been a Manton resident most of his life and had been employed at Wadell Mfg. in Grand Rapids and also worked in the Christmas tree business. He attended the Manton Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and country music.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three stepsons, John Johnston of Grand Haven, William and Laura Johnston of Mesick, and James and Brenda Johnston of Sears; his mother, Grace Tracey of Manton; one sister, Lorraine Green of South Boardman and two nieces and two nephews and eight step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Walter Tracey and an infant brother.
Funeral services were held Thu, Sep 9, 1993, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton. Pastor Paul Pichot officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Manton. Memorial tributes may be made to the family.
