Walter "Wally Gator" Ignatz Faber, 83, passed away on Jan 3, 2020.
He was a loving, father, son, brother, and friend to many.
Walter is survived by his children, Karen (Lloyd) Whitmus, Daniel (Amy) Faber, Lisa (Steven) Kinney, and Johnny Faber; grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher and Amanda Whitmus, Max and Hannah Kinney; great grandson, Brody Whitmus; and the mother of his children, Anna Faber.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Katherine Faber; father, Matthew Faber; and brother, John Faber.
Walter was a retired deputy sheriff in Los Angeles, CA.
He loved his family, friends, reading books, guns, horses and his many Harley group rides traveling all over the country honoring our veterans.
There will be a celebration of his life for close family and friends in the summer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
