Waldemar H Broecker, 88, of 5582 Brigham Rd, Goodrich, died Feb 11 at the Fenton Extended Care Center. He was a lifelong Hadley area farmer and carpenter.
Mr. Broecker was born Sep 15, 1892, the son of August and Anna Broecker. He married Hazel Stacey and she preceded him in death Mar 18, 1953.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Doris Schueller of Troutdale, OR, and Reva Miller of Hadley; 2 sons, Max and Glenn both of Goodrich, 5 sisters, Hilda Gruenwald of Hadley, Leona Hushin of Hadley, Esther Rowley of Grand Blanc, Ruth Peterson of Lapeer, and Vera Henderson of Metamora; a brother, Ernest of Hadley; 20 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Services were held Sat at Christ Lutheran Church in Goodrich with Pastor Henry Wesenberg officiating. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sherman Funeral Home in Ortonville.
