Virgil Riddell, 68, of South Boardman, died Fri, Oct 1, 1993, at his residence.
Mr. Riddell moved to South Boardman six years ago from Lincoln Park. Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was superintendent of the Lincoln Park Veterinary Hospital. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his grandchildren.
Mr. Riddell was born in Beaver Dam, KY on May 18, 1925, to Virgil and Laura Sharp Riddell. He was married on Apr 9, 1955, in Lincoln Park to Lamora Smith who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Walter Riddell of South Boardman and Carl Riddell of Traverse City; three daughters, Sondra Robin of Flat Rock, Cynthia Wagensomer of Southgate, and Lamora Yoskovich of New Boston; two brothers, Robert Riddell of Flint, and John Riddell of Lansing; two sisters, Lucille Balder and Martha White-Archer both of Flint and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother Eldon Riddell and one sister, Ruth Varney.
