Vernon Foster, 66, of 1021 Hickory, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Lansing and vicinity, he was supervisor at Rather Hall at MSU, member of the Bethany Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel B; a step son Rolland C. Pratt of Mason; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Mosher of New Mexico, and Mrs. Lillian Hornbeck of Lansing; two brothers, Harry of Sunfield and Chelsea of California.
Services will be Friday at 10 am in the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge.
