Services for Vern Edward Newbrough, 83, of 2930 D St. will be held Friday in the Pella Lutheran Church. He died in the Selma District Hospital Jan 19.
The Rev. James W. Thompson Jr will officiate. Interment will be in Floral Memorial Park.
Mr. Newbrough was born in Iowa and lived in Selma for 28 years. He was a home building contractor and a grape farmer. He was a member of the Pella Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Newbrough of Selma; one daughter, Darlene Wicks of Texas; one brother, Harold Newbrough of Iowa; and one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Page Funeral Chapel.
