Vera G Boone, age 89, of Canton, OH, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at the Canton Christian Home. Born in Riverside, CA on Dec 7, 1912, she had lived the greater portion of her life in the Canton area. She was a member of the First Christian Church, she was a member having held various offices in the Canton Fire Ladies Assoc, was a life member of the Women’s Life Insurance Society, and a member of Prime Time at Aultman Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd an dHelen Snyder, and her husband, Charles Boone who passed away May 29, 1984.
Survivors include four sons and daughter in laws, Charles E and Pam Boone of Alliance, OH, Don W and Ledia Boone of Bremen, OH, Jerry R. and Cindy Boone of Menlo Park, CA, Lonie A. And Patty Boone of Canton. Two daugthers and sons in law, Nancy (Boone) and Fred Peters and Lorie (Boone) and Rick Miller all of Canton. Her sister in law, Lois Hite of Canton. There are 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 am in the Reed Funeral Home with Manley Pierce, Minister officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
