Treva Ort Neff, 82
MONTPELIER, Ind. - Treva Ort Neff, 82, died Sunday in Miller's Merry Manor, Hartford City.
She was the stepmother of Mayor Kenneth Neff.
A lifelong resident of the Blackford County area, she had been employed at Indiana Box Corp. in Montpelier. She was a member of Millard-Brown American Legion Post 156 Auxiliary and attended Montpelier United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Ort, and her second husband, Clyde A. Neff.
Survivors other than her stepson include a daughter, Sharon (Mrs. Chester) Wall, Montpelier; two sons, Wallis Ort, Hartford City, and Richard Ort, Eaton; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Ann (Mrs. Eugene) Outcalt, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Barbara (Mrs. William) Herr, Montpelier; a brother, John Weaver, Hartford City; seven grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Walker-Glancy Funeral Home, with Rev. Phil Hershberger officiating. Burial will be in Montpelier IOOF Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and before services Wednesday.
