Thomas R. McLean, 52, of Kalkaska, died Oct 5, 1998, at his residence.
Mr. McLean resided in Rochester until 1983, when he moved to Kalkaska. He had been employed by the Adko Building Company. He enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, his grandchildren, dog, and tattoos.
Born in Detroit on Sep 9, 1946, he was the son of Douglas and Frances Dare McLean. On Sep 9, 1977, in Troy, he married Helen Olsen, who survives.
Surviving are sons Ronald of Grand Rapids, Jamie of Kalkaska, Tom of Roseville, and Ken of Kalkaska; daughters Paula of Belleville, Dawn of Kalkaska, and Suzie of East Detroit; mother Frances Beck of Warren; brothers Douglas of NC, and Robert of Imlay City; sister Fran Pardo of Farwell; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A brother in law and sister in law Paul and Sandra Kotowsky preceded him in death.
Visitation was held from 1 to 8 pm Oct 7 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
