Thomas H. Vaughan, 64, of Fife Lake, died Mar 7, 1998, at his residence.
Mr. Vaughan was employed as an electrician for General Motors prior to his retirement six years ago when he oved to Fife Lake from Algonac. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Fife Lake United Methodist Church, Master of Manton Lodge No 347 F&AM, Worthy Patron of Manton-Buckley Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Emily Wood Chapter 205, OES in Marine City. He enjoyed hunting and sports.
Born in Springfield, Missouri on Sep 26, 1933, he was the son of Lewis and Mary Modene (Jackson) Vaughan. On May 26, 1977, in Algonac, he married Deanna Hammond, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Donna (Dan) Hall of Mountain Home, AR; stepsons David (Marie) Hammond and Scott (Kym) Hammond, both of Port Huron; sister Gertie Lee Douthitt of Wylie, TX; six grandchildren; a niece and nephew.
Memorial services were held Mar 11 at the Fife Lake United Methodist Church. Pastor Howard Seaver officiated. Lodge rites were under the auspices of Manton Lodge No. 347 F& AM, Manton-Buckley Chapter and Emily Ward Chapter 205, OES.
