Thomas F. Wottowa, 72, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Sep 26, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Wottowa moved to Kalkaska County in 1988 from Franklin. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by Tek Sales and Marketing in Troy. He servid with the Army Air Force during WWII, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Livonia. He enjoyed his work and fishing.
Mr. Wottowa was born in Belleville, IL on Feb 2, 1923, to Rudolph and Mary Poelker Wottowa. On Jan 15, 1949, in Bowling Green, OH, he was married to Dorothy (Dodo) Wessell who survives.
Also surviving are one son, David Wottowa of Lawrence; two daughters, Deborah DiCicco of St. Johns and Jennifer Osthimer of Granger, IN; one brother, William Wottowa of Torch Lake; two sisters, Mary Wottowa and Carol Wozniak both of White Lake; and five children.
A scripture service was held at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska on Wednesday evening.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thu, Sep 28, 1995 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J Barrett officiated. Committal services were held Saturday at Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi.
