Thomas D. Miller, 59, of Alden died Wed, Jan 15, 1992 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of the Alden area and was employed as a custodian at the Kalkaska Public Schools. Mr. Miller served in the Korean War and was a member of the Alden VFW Post #7126. He loved his family and enjoyed cooking and the outdoors.
Mr. Miller was born in Mancelona on Feb 6, 1932 to Charles and Juliaetta Emerson Miller. On Jul 6, 1957, in Alden, he married Deloris Martindale, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Thomas L. Miller of Kalkaska, Duane A. Miller of Interlochen, Trace L Miller of Rapid City, Robert E. Miller of Germany, and William E. Miller of GA; two daughters, Kim Kline of GA and Teresa Miller of Alden; three brothers, Patrick Miller of Muskegon, Marvin Miller of Mt. Morris, and Richard Miller of Alden; six sisters, Charlotte Elliott of Pontiac, Shirley Grannis of Bellaire, Marge Moore of Hesperia, Maxine Sommers of Mackinaw City, Lucy Miller of Bellaire and Evon Potrafke of Alden; 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, D.B. Miller and Jack Miller preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sun, Jan 19, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Max Tracey officiated. Cremation followed the service.
