Thomas Adrian Aldridge, son of Luther and Elizabeth Aldridge, was born in Huron County, MI, Apr 22, 1887, and died at Detroit, Jul 5, 1944.

Mr. Aldridge grew to manhood in the Fife Lake community. On Jun 1, 1907 he married Bessie Hamilton at Fife Lake. To them were born four sons, Hamilton, Wayne, Keith, and Boyd. These with the mother survive. They all live at Detroit. The family moved to Detroit in 1917. In 1925 Mr. Aldridge entered into the manufacture of Tools and Dies in Detroit. He continued in that business the balance of his life. He also leaves two brothers, Adolphus of Fife Lake, and Wilbur of Flint, and three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Tolbert of Detroit, and Mrs. Mabel Kelly and Mrs. Martha Snyder of Fife Lake. Also, ten grandchildren, as well as a large number of other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Aldridge was pre eminently a husband and father. His life and business were built around his family. He was a man of very high ideals and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service for Mr. Aldridge was conducted Fri evening at the Rigley Funeral Home, Detroit. Rev. Marshall Reed conducting the services. The Chapel was filled with a company of friends including many friends who formerly lived in Fife Lake. A final service was conducted Sun afternoon at the farm home of Mr. Aldridge, Ranch 7-11. A great company from Detroit and from the home community were present. The display of flowers was testimony to the character and friendly spirit of the deceased. Rev. Geo. A. Tennant conducted the services. Burial was in Fife Lake Cemetery. An unusual part of the funeral was the appearance of the Ranch 7-11 baseball team in new uniforms purchased for the team by Mr. Aldridge. They acted as a guard of honor.
