Therese C. Sanchez Azar, passed away suddenly on Jan 29, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident in Kalkaska.
She was born on Nov 25, 1960, in Bay City, the daughter of Joseph and Joyce Sanchez.
Therese married Fred M Azar on Jul 10, 1978, in Sterling Heights. They were residents of Kalkaska since 1987. Therese was employed at the Glen's Market in Kalkaska. She was also a licensed cosmetologist.
Therese enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening and flower gardens. She loved her grandchildren immensely and appreciated spending time with her family. Therese was a member of the Kalkaska Baptist Church.
Surviving Therese are her husband, Fred; children, Kristal Azar, Kellie Azar, and Sarah Azar, all of Kalkaska; grandchildren, Olivia Azar and Mason Sherwood, both of Kalkaska; father, Joseph (Melissa) Sanchez of Sterling Heights; mother, Joyce (John) Joslin of Romeo; brothers and sisters, Laurie Whitmore of NC, John (Laurie) Sanchez of Indian River, Jackie (Mike) White of Shelby Township; her sister in law, Kathy Sanchez of Indian River; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Therese in death was her brother, Michael Sanchez.
A memorial service was held on Sun, Feb 6 at the Kalkaska Baptist Church. The Rev. Walter Skrine officiated. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaksa.
