Thelma E. Hanna, aged 73, of the Cedar Springs and Rockford Area, a retired factory worker at Steelcase Furniture, died Mon, Nov 5 at her sons home in Belmont. She was born Jun 19, 1911 to Clyde and Martha (Aldridge) Snyder in Springfield Township of Fife Lake, MI. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Luther T. Hawkins of Grand Rapids and Mrs. And Mrs. Olney Lee Hawkins of Belmont and Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Remus of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren; 12 ½ great grandchildren; one brother, Wilbur Snyder of Traverse City; one sister, Mrs. Vernice Petersen of Sidney; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held Thu at 1pm at the Bliss-Earl Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Arthur Jackson officiating. Interment Solon Cemetery. Mrs. Hanna reposes at the Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wed 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
