Former Montpelier resident Tex A Underwood, 66, RR 1, Rockville, died Tuesday in Hendricks County Hospital, Danville.
Mr. Underwood was a retired construction worker and an Air Force veteran of WWII.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Union Coal 20 of Indianapolis and Waynetown Masonic Lodge 302 A&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; four daughters, Nikki Glenn, Niceville, FL, Penny Covault, Darlington, Ann Robinson, Clear Lake, IA, and Mary Hall, Shelbyville; two sons, Pat Underwood, Santa Barbara, CA and Rick Underwood, Linden; two stepsons, David Lang, Rockville, and Donald Lang, Waynetown; two sisters, Pauline Maybee, Chicago, and Marjorie Garrigus, Asheville, NC, and 13 grandchildren.
His first wife, Esther died in 1966.
Memorial services will be at 7:30pm Friday in Otterbien United Methodist Church, Bellmore.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 am Saturday at IOOF Cemetery.
