Terry D. "Butch" Ehl, 56, of Kalkaska, died Mar 12, 1998, at his home. Terry had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and served in the U.S. military. He was active in the Forgotten Man Program in area county jails, and was affiliated with the Spencer Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting wood.
Mr. Ehl was born in Kalkaska County on Sep 27, 1941, to Donald and Eileen Krepps Ehl. He married Rosalie Holland in Spencer on Dec 1, 1984.
Surviving are his wife Rosalie; sons Kevin (Janine) Holland of Kalkaska, Randy Ehl of Owosso and Heath Ehl of Kalkaska; daughters Gayle (John) Brown of Barryton, and Lynaia (james) Holland and Heather Ehl, both of Kalkaska; brother Rodney (Phyllis) Ehl of Clemont, GA; sister Theila (David) Keifer of Pasadena, CA; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Mar 16 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Chaplain Bob Hall officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
