Terry Allen LaLonde, age 61, of Sault Ste Marie, MI passed away on Jun 29, 2022, at his home.
Terry was born on Mar 25, 1961, to the late Joseph and Margaret (McLean) LaLonde in Sault Ste Marie, MI. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was stationed in Yorktown, VA. On Oct 27, 1979, he married his wife, Lisa Joy Mattern, in Sault Ste Marie. Terry worked for 20 years at Burton Excavating as a welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bonfires. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Red Wings, Lions, and Tigers.
Terry is survived by his wife, Liisa LaLonde; his children: Christopher (Chantal Goeta) LaLonde of Sault Ste Marie, Stacy (Jeff) Pollman of Florida, and Melissa (Bo) Nolan of Sault Ste Marie; 10 grandchildren: Alizayah, Brooklyn, Christopher, Kaden, Kelsie (Maeci), Konner, Anthony, Maddie, Seth, and DeeDee. Terry is also survived by his brothers: Dave (Ellen) LaLond of Lansing, Ricky (Jayne) LaLonde of CT, and Glenn LaLonde of CO; a sister: Londa (Tom) Porcaro of Sault Ste. Marie; his in laws: Alan and Verna Mattern, as well as his brothers in law: Bob Mattern and Rick Mattern, all of Sault Ste Marie, MI.
According to Terry’s wishes, no public services will be held.
