Teresa Kay Dake, 49, of Fife Lake, passed away, Sun, Oct 30, 2011, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Teresa was born on Jun 9, 1962 in Flint, to the late Thomas Dean and Kathleen Carol Saunders.
Teresa will always be remembered for putting others first and that she always tried to be a good person. Prior to her illness she enjoyed helping and organizing the Fourth of July festivities in Fife Lake. She also enjoyed her years spent in Florence, KY. Cooking for family and friends was her passion. Teresa loved spending time with her granddaughter. Teresa is survived by her children, Amanda (Lloyd Dennis) Ernstes, Tyler Dake, and Jason Williams; her granddaughter, Brianna Dennis; her sisters Tammy LaLonde, Lisa (Dan Wrey) Saunders, and Angel (Joe) Gordon; her father, Thomas Dean Saunders; special friends Judy Jordan and Terri Ingersoll; aunts and uncles, Virginia Campbell, Lucy Elliott, Virgal Beckwith, Alice Morris, Sharon Graves, Dave Warren, and Leslie Ames; nieces and nephew, Kathy LaLonde, Jenna Gordon, and Zander LaLonde; former husband, Joe Dake; in laws, Bobby Dake, Ron Dake, and Chuck (Jen) Dake.
Visitation will be on Thu, Nov 3, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm at Kalkaska Funeral Home.
