Sylvia "Alberta" Robinson, 83, of Rapid City passed away Jan 28, 2003, surrounded by her family at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born Jan 6, 1920, in Rapid City, the daughter of Joseph and Iva (Finney) Mariage.
Mrs. Robinson married Ford M Robinson Dec 19, 1936, in Bowling Green, OH. Mrs. Robinson was a lifelong resident of Rapid City. She was a past Juniper Garden Club member and enjoyed fishing. She was a wonderful homemaker and had a great love for her family.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her loving family, including her husband Ford of 66 years; daughter, Patricia Y (Louis) Brach of Wellston; son Lynn (Donna) Long of Suttons Bay; one grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by all her siblings: George Mariage, Mary Mariage, Jim Mariage, Blanch Mariage, Rose Mariage, Plumie Mariage, Flossie Mariage, John Mariage, and Melvin Mariage.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
