Sven B. Anderson, 77, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, died Wed, Oct 2, 1991 at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson owned and operated Anderson's Bakery in Kalkaska from 1950 to 1978. Prior to that, he was employed at a baker in Prudenville. He was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge.
Mr. Anderson was born in Kalkaska County on Aug 3, 1914 to Swan and Orpha Hamilton Anderson. On Oct 25, 1938 in Traverse City, he was married to Lucille Lesher who preceded him in death on Feb 8, 1972.
Also preceding him in death were twin daughters, Ellen and Helen; one brother, Victor Anderson; and three sisters, Marta Shanaman, Laura Johnson, and Arthella Carr.
Surviving are one son, Robert D. Anderson of Kalkaska; one brother, Robert E. Anderson of Kalkaska; one sister, Cleo Alexander of Mancelona; one granddaughter, Diane Miller of Kalkaska; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sat, Oct 5, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of the Peoples Church, officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
