Steve J Jewell passed away Mon, Nov 9, at his home.
He was born Mar 25, 1939, in Midland; the son of the late Winford and Marie (Denton) Jewell.
Steve was employed by Advanced Drilling for many years.
He enjoyed his motorcycle, a Honda Goldwing. Steve participated in the Goldwing Midnight Ride for childhood diabetes. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and just being in the "great outdoors."
Surviving Steve are his children, Steven (Gayla) Jewell of Mt Pleasant, Amy VanOrden of Shepherd and Keith (Tonia) Jewell of Mt Pleasant; nine grandchildren; a great granddaughter; siblings, Lyle (Chole') Jewell of Phoenix, AZ, and Beulah Grenert of Mt Pleasant.
Preceding STeve in death were his two sisters, Esther Vollmer and Alice Timmer.
A memorial service will be held Thu, Nov 12 at 6 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at Kelly Cemetery in Midland on Fri, Nov 13 at 11 am.
