Stanley A. Snyder, 60, of rural Fife Lake died Wed at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center after an extended illness.
A farmer, Mr. Snyder was born Aug 1, 1916 in Kalkaska county’s Springfield township near Fife Lake and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Surviving are: the widow, Maxwell, to whom he was married in Sept 1933 at Fife Lake; two sons, Stanley E. of Kalkaska and Harold M. of Fife Lake; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Martha Snyder of Fife Lake; two brothers, Luther of Fife Lake and Wilbur of Traverse City; and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Hannah of Cedar Springs and Mrs. Chris Peterson of Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Fri at Fife Lake Methodist church. Rev. Ed Smith officiating with burial in Clark Cemetery, Fife Lake.
Schwartz funeral home in Kalkaska is in charge of funeral arrangements.
