Stanley A. Kimball, 73, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, died Mon, Jun 22, 1992, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Kimball served in the Army during WWII, and was a member V.F.W. Post 8684. He was also a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born in Kalkaska County on Jun 2, 1919, he was the son of Ezra and Etta Sutton Kimball. On Jul 20, 1937, in Lapeer, he was married to Thelma Hatley who preceded him in death on Feb 10, 1986.
Surviving are one son, Stanley Richard Kimball of Kalkaska; three daughters, Bonnie Campbell, and Debra Seeley both of Kalkaska and Carol Hubble of Linwood; two brothers, Alfred Kimball of Roscommon, and John Kimball of Kalkaska; two sisters, Ila Calkins and Alice Nave both of Kalkaska; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
One brother, Lester Kimball, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Wed, Jun 24, 1992, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Garfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County under the auspices of Land-O-Lakes V.F.W. Post 8684.
