Sidney Richard Howe, 72, died Sun, Jan 22, 1995 at Saginaw General Hospital.
He was born Jun 15, 1922 in Saginaw to Sam and Edna (Purdy) Howe. He served with the Navy Air Corps during WWII. He had been employed by General Motors as a pattern maker until his retirement in 1975.
Mr. Howe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wanda (Varns) Howe; also one son and two daughters, Steven Jay Howe of Atlanta, GA; Judith (Terry) Butler of Saginaw; Deborah Hand of Birch Run; his auction buddy and son in law, Terry Butler; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Gary Lee Howe. Also surviving are two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Howe, three sisters, Maxine (Sally) Pogoreski, Alvina (Babe) Metevia, and Delores (Dolly) Bigger, all of Birch Run; two aunts, Virginia (Albert) Shay and Edith (Purdy) Brooks; very special nieces and nephews, the Donald Gilmour family and spouses.
Funeral services took place Wed, Jan 25, 1995 at the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Donald Ashmall officiated with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
