Shirley Beatrice Hayward, 74, died November 8, 1994, at Marlette Community Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1920 in Brown City to the late Orva and Carrie (Mescar) Westover.
She married Kenneth J. Hayward Apr. 12, 1941, in Bowling Green, OH. He died June 1, 1985.
Mrs. Hayward enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by four sons, Ronald (Sharon) Hayward, James (Ruth) Hayward, Delbert (Janet) Hayward, all of Brown City; Robert (Diane) Hayward, Marlette; four daughters, Sandra (Butch) Bennett, Brenda (Thomas Sr.) Owens, Debbie Hayward, all of Brown City, Pamela (Lyman) Owens, Marlette; two brothers Bud Westover, Columbiaville, Donnie Westover, Pontiac; four sisters, Iris Eschendal, Pinconning, Vonnie Quandt, Peck, Beverly Franz, NJ, Maxine Lang, FL; and a special friend, Lowell Powell, Mariette.
Services were held Nov. 11, at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette, with Rev. Richard Black officiating.
Pallbearers were Robert Hayward Jr, Randy Hayward, Delbert Hayward Jr, Todd Hayward, Troy Hayward, Ricky Hayward, Thomas Owens Jr, Ronald Bennett, Leonard Bennett Jr, Michael Chase, and Jamie Owens.
Burial was in evergreen Cemetery, Brown City.
