Scott Lane Cowdrey, 61, of Fife Lake, died Thu, Jan 27, 2011.
Scott was born on Dec 13, 1949 in Burbank, CA, the son of Clyde and Elizabeth Cowdrey.
He was disabled. Scott loved fishing, being with family - especially his grandchildren - and spending peaceful time at the Spring Lake campground. For those who really knew Scott witnessed his kind spirited heart. He often brought people home and offered them food, showers, and shelter.
Scott is survived by his wife, Martha Cowdrey; children, Windy Tarrance and Eric Cowdrey, both of New Iberia, LA; grandchildren, Kalie, Caleb, Julian, Tyler, and Harlie; mother Elizabeth Cowdrey of Miss., and sister, Faith Haddock of Redmond, CA.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Clyde.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at Life Story Funeral Home. A public memorial service will be announced in the spring.
